Hi, I’m Eugenie Huang, a GIS developer based in Madison, Wisconsin, currently pursuing a master’s in Cartography & GIS.
During my graduate studies, much of my work has focused on helping people from different fields find practical GIS solutions, whether that means designing map interfaces, building geospatial applications, or prototyping data workflows that make spatial tasks clearer, faster and more reliable.
My work blends cartography, spatial analytics and modern web development. I’m especially interested in how AI can support real-world geospatial workflows, from automated data processing to more intelligent map design.
Outside of research and development projects, I enjoy community volunteering and exploring new places through maps, travel and local observation.
